Day 1
You can fly to Moscow via any convenient airline for you. A driver with a sign will be waiting at the airport to take you to your hotel. Check-in at the hotel is possible only after 14:00. If you arrive in Moscow with an early flight, then an earlier check-in can be booked for you for an additional fee.
Day 2
9:00 Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out
10:00 Sightseeing tour of Moscow. You will see the Red Square, Bolshoi Theater, GUM (main department store), St. Basil’s Cathedral, Metropol Hotel, Nikolskaya Street, Historical Museum, Kazan Cathedral, Lubyanka, KGB building, Zaryadye Park, and the Central Children’s Store.
13:00 Lunch. We suggest you visit the Korchma restaurant for lunch. Average cost of lunch is $ 20-30.
14:00 Excursion to the Kremlin. The guide will tell you about the history of the Kremlin, and then you will have free time to explore the cathedrals on your own.
15:30 Return to the hotel. Free time
17:00 Transfer to the airport.
21:40 Departure to Irkutsk. Flight of Aeroflot airlines on Boeing 737-800. The price already includes food, seat selection, hand luggage up to 10 kg., and luggage up to 23 kg. The flight takes six hours. Time difference between Moscow and Irkutsk is five hours.
Day 3
08:35 Arrive in Irkutsk.
9:30 Breakfast ($15 per person).
10:30 Departure to Olkhon Island. Olkhon is the largest island on Lake Baikal. The entire island territory belongs to the national park, so the pristine nature is well preserved here. The island is shrouded in a mass of legends that attracts tourists here with its places of power. Olkhon is considered to be the sacred center of the shamans of the northern world. The road to Olkhon can take 5-6 hours.
16:00 Estimated arrival time to Olkhon. Check in at the hotel.
Day 4
9:30 Breakfast.
10:00 Tour by jeep to Cape Khoboy. Khoboy is the northernmost point of Olkhon Island. For lunch you will have a picnic with local cuisine.
17:00 Return to the hotel. Free time.
Day 5
9:30 Breakfast.
8:00 Excursion by Jeep to the island of Ogoy. Ogoy is a small and picturesque island on the coast of Olkhon. Here is one of the most important Buddhist shrines, the Stupa of Enlightenment. You will have the opportunity to see the Baikal seals. Lunch $20.
17:00 Return to the hotel. Dinner $20.
18:00 Departure to Irkutsk.
23:00 Arrival at the hotel in Irkutsk.
Day 6
8:00 Breakfast.
9:00 Transfer to Irkutsk airport.
13:05 Flight to Moscow. Depart for Moscow via Aeroflot Airlines on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The price already includes food, seat selection, hand luggage up to 10 kg., and luggage up to 23 kg. The flight takes 6 hours and 30 minutes. The time difference between Moscow and Irkutsk is 5 hours.
