Day 1

You can fly to Moscow via any convenient airline for you. A driver with a sign will be waiting at the airport to take you to your hotel. Check-in at the hotel is possible only after 14:00. If you arrive in Moscow with an early flight, then an earlier check-in can be booked for you for an additional fee.

Day 2

9:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

10:00 Sightseeing tour of Moscow. You will see the Red Square, Bolshoi Theater, GUM (main department store), St. Basil’s Cathedral, Metropol Hotel, Nikolskaya Street, Historical Museum, Kazan Cathedral, Lubyanka, KGB building, Zaryadye Park, and the Central Children’s Store.

13:00 Lunch. When it’s lunchtime, we’d like to suggest that you get a bite to eat at Doctor Zhivago restaurant. It will cost you about 30 or 40 US dollars. Doctor Zhivago’s is at the National Hotel at the center of Moscow and makes authentic Russian food. They got their name from the book written by Boris Pasternak, which was later made into a movie.

14:00 Marina Tsvetaeva tour. Marina Tsvetaeva is a very famous Russian author from the Silver Age. Take a walk through the places that were important to her life.

17:00 End of the day’s program. After the Marina Tsvetaeva tour, you can still walk around and explore on your own, or the guide will take you back to your hotel.

Day 3

7:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

8:00 Transfer to the railway station.

8:47 Departure of the high-speed train to Tula. High-speed train “Lastochka”. Economy class. On the way 2:15.

11:02 Arrival at the Tula railway station and excursion to the estate of Leo Tolstoy in Yasnaya Polyana. One of the most famous Russian writers is Leo Tolstoy, who wrote War and Peace, Anna Karenina and many other books. He was born in Yasnaya Polyana. When visiting the house where Leo Tolstoy lived when he was still alive, enjoy strolling through a magnificent landscaped area that also has a botanical garden.

13:00 Lunch. When it’s time to eat it’s a great idea to get some food at one of the cafes in Yasnaya Polyana. The cafe prepares food with the recipes of Sofya Tolstoy – the wife of Leo Tolstoy, who was the greatest Russian writer ($20).

14:30 Excursion to the Tula Kremlin. Take a tour of the Tula Kremlin, and don’t miss out on seeing the two main cathedrals in the city. Your guide will be happy to tell you the story of the famous Tula gingerbread, that became known through the whole of Russia. When the tour is finished, you will still have some time available to walk around the Kremlin, and to buy some of the local candy.

17:00 Transfer to the Tula railway station.

17:39 Departure of the high-speed train to Moscow. High-speed train “Lastochka”. Economy class. On the way 2:16.

19:55 Arrival in Moscow. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 4

9:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

9:45 Check-out from the hotel.

10:00 Excursion to the Kremlin. The guide will tell you about the history of the Kremlin, and then you will have free time to explore the cathedrals on your own.

13:00 Free Time.

18:30 Transfer to airport.

22:30 Departure to Pskov. Flight of Azimuth on SSJ-100. The price already includes, seat selection, hand luggage up to 5 kg., and luggage up to 23 kg. The flight takes 1:25.

23:55 Arrival in Pskov. A driver with a sign will be waiting at the airport to take you to your hotel.

Day 5

9:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

10:00 Excursion to Pushkin Hills. Pushkin Hill is the ranch of the Pushkin family where the poet lived when he was exiled, and is included in this trip. Aside from the family property, the ranches of Pushkin’s friends will also be visited. His friends were the land barons Osipov-Wulf as well as the Hannibals, who were ancestors of A.S. Pushkin. You could also pay your respects to the famous writer where his grave lies on the grounds of the Svyatogosk Holy Dormition Monastery. An authentic Russian lunch is included in the tour price.

16:00 End of the day’s program. After the Pushkin tour, the guide will take you back to your hotel.

Day 6

8:30 Breakfast at the hotel.

9:30 Sightseeing tour of Pskov. Founded in 903, Pskov is one of the ancient cities of Russia. The tour will take you to historical landmarks and also to the Pskov Krom (aka “Kremlin”).

12:00 Transfer to the railway station.

12:43 Departure of the high-speed train to St. Petersburg. High-speed train “Lastochka”. Economy class. On the way 3:30.

16:13 Arrival in St. Petersburg. A driver with a sign will be waiting at the airport to take you to your hotel.

Day 7

9:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

10:00 Sightseeing tour of St. Petersburg. You will see Nevsky Prospect, Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, Kazan Cathedral, canals and bridges, the Hermitage, the Admiralty, and the Neva embankment.

13:00 Lunch. We suggest you visit the Metel restaurant for lunch. Average cost of lunch is 20-30 US dollars.

14:00 Pushkin tour in St. Petersburg. Pushkin spent the biggest part of his life in St. Petersburg so it’s interesting to see the places that were meaningful to him.

17:00 End of the day’s program. After the Pushkin tour, you can still walk around and explore on your own, or the guide will take you back to your hotel.

Day 8

9:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

10:00 Excursion to the Hermitage. The Hermitage is one of the largest museums in the world. It houses a collection of over 3 million works of art.

13:00 End of the day’s program. After the Hermitage tour, you can still walk around and explore on your own, or the guide will take you back to your hotel.

Day 9

9:00 Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. You can take off on any flight convenient for you. Our driver will take you to the airport. Check-out from the hotel is before 10:00.

13:00 Lunch at the legendary Pushkin restaurant. There are many famous restaurants in Moscow, but one of the most well-known ones is the Pushkin. It is especially famous for its food and the beautiful décor. The restaurant is named after the legendary Russian writer, Alexander Pushkin (Included).

14:00 Bulgakov tour. Mikhail Bulgakov is one of the famous authors from the 20th century. The Master and Margarita is one of the many books he wrote that is world famous. While you are exploring the city, you can see some of the places connected to Bulgakov and even visit his apartment.

18:30 Transfer to airport.

14:00 Excursion “Crime and Punishment”. The book, “Crime and Punishment” – written by Fyodor Dostoevsky, is the theme of this excursion. The guide will walk you through some iconic places in St. Petersburg that he described in his book.

18:00 End of the day’s program. After the “Crime and Punishment” tour, you can still walk around and explore on your own, or the guide will take you back to your hotel.
